The  E.M.I.R. Healing Center helped me, I have been a victim of homicide and they took the time to understand the victim. They are my family and although I know how it feels to lose someone you love; seeing someone go through it raised my awareness. The insight I got from the E.M.I.R Healing Center makes me want to avoid putting anyone through that type of grief. The Healing Center helped me stray away from the life of crime.

Losing my father Emir Greene affects me in my own way. I would say it’s like pouring gasoline to an already lit fire. I say this because of the circumstances that I was already born in. His murder not only affected his family but my mother also. My mother was so young, impatient, and lost considering she had very few family members of her own to financially support her and help raise her first child. Her first love murder only made matters much worst.
